Allstate Director of Inclusive Diversity to host LGBTQIA+ Pride Event this July

More Than a Month: Building Pride into Business Impact

Date: Tuesday, 21 July
Time: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Location: Allstate Mays Meadow

Pride Month may last just a few weeks, but creating an inclusive workplace is a year-round commitment. Join us for More Than a Month: Building Pride into Business Impact, an interactive session designed to help LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) strengthen their strategies and turn meaningful conversations into lasting organisational change.

This event brings together colleagues, leaders, and EDI advocates to explore practical ways of embedding inclusion into everyday business practices. Through collaboration, discussion, and shared experiences, participants will leave with actionable ideas to help their Pride networks create greater impact within their organisations.

Hosted by Director of Inclusive Diversity, Richard Mihalic

Richard Mihalic (he/him/they) is an empathic, creative professional with nearly two decades (+) of leadership experience at Allstate Insurance Company. Currently the Director of Inclusive Diversity at Allstate, he brings a design mindset and deep expertise in storytelling, communication, and inclusive leadership.

A passionate connector and seasoned speaker, Richard has facilitated workshops and presented globally on a range of topics, often centered around effective communication and shared human experience. He has been a long-standing leader in Allstate’s national PRIDE Employee Impact Group and now leads enterprise-wide activations around the world.

In his current role, Richard leads a global team of diversity & inclusion experts and plays a key role in embedding inclusion into Allstate’s policies, practices, and culture, helping to foster a workplace where all individuals feel seen, valued, and engaged. His passion for creating and sustaining an organizational culture of connection and belonging is paramount to the work he does on a daily basis.

Based in Nashville, TN with his husband and their two university-aged daughters, Richard enjoys live theatre, tennis, and all things Disney—especially the story of his and his husband’s dual proposals! With his professional background and unwavering dedication to fostering inclusivity, Richard is an invaluable asset and a champion for positive change inside and outside the walls of Allstate.
